Inspecting panel products by manual has been gone for many years. The quality problems which cause from the unstable of inspectors trouble both suppliers & buyers a lot. To solve this problem, IICc develop new Scanner Automated Optical Inspection to replace the manual inspection to help increase the production quantity, and standardize the complicated inspection process.
Different from the ordinary CCD inspection, IICc SAOi facility use monopolistic line scanners to imitate human angle, change the images to digital signals to find the defects. Also record and analysis all the defect details to help improve the quality, decrease the argument and cost.
Automated Inspection
The greatest advantage of using automated machine to replace manual inspection is the stable and unbiased inspection results. In manual inspection, each analysis is different due to fatigue, mood, and other human factors; the standard will be different for each inspector which ultimately led to disagreement between buyers and suppliers regarding the test results. The SAOi system eliminates these problems. The automated inspection makes sure the results are objective and stable.
Linear Scanner
Different from traditional SAOi machine which is based on CCD camera, IICc’s own proprietary SAOi system uses linear scanners that are designed in CMOS technique. The linear and seamless chip design makes sure there are no dead zones or distortion problems on the inspection images.
Adjustable Scan Angle
The scan angles can be adjusted, simulate the inspection angles of human eyes. IICc’s SAOi machine also uses dust-discriminated program so the dust will not be registered as defects.
Customization
Each IICc’s SAOi machine can be customized to each facility based on customer’s requirements.
